What happens to the details you send us, in plain English. The short version: we use them to reply to you, and that is all.

Who we are
Arli Agency (“ARLI”, “we”) is a marketing agency in the UK. We decide how the details you send through this site are used, which makes us the “controller” of them under UK data protection law.
For anything to do with your data, email us.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form, we receive the name and email address you give us and whatever you write about your project. If you email us directly, we receive your email and anything in it.
Like any website, the company that hosts this one processes technical details such as your IP address and browser type when you visit, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk about the work you have in mind. The legal basis is taking steps you have asked for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
- If you become a client, to do the work and run the contract, and to keep the accounting records the law requires.
We will not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing you did not ask for, or sell or share your details with anyone for their own use.
Who else handles it
A few services handle your details on our behalf, only to run this site and our inbox, and under contracts that require them to keep it secure:
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Resend, which delivers what you send through the enquiry form to our inbox.
- Our email provider, which holds our inbox.
Some of these are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where your details leave the UK, they are protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK’s standard contract clauses.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not turn into work, we delete it within twelve months of our last contact. If you become a client, we keep what we need for as long as we work together, and keep financial records for six years afterwards, as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you and send you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to our using it;
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a usable format.
To do any of these, email us. It is free, and we will reply within a month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
